How is it already the end of yet another year? We know we have so much to reflect on, and it’s fair to say that 2019 surely surpassed our expectations. As with most years, 2019 gave us many highlights, like hiking (or crawling) to the top of Gros Piton in St. Lucia, riding in the snowy majestic mountains of Montana, and attending not one, but two family vacations to The Bahamas and Hilton Head, SC. It also served us a few lows like the dislocation of my right shoulder while on vacation. Yet, along the way we learned dozens of lessons about ourselves, each other, and the world and cultures around us.
