We will be off again — and oh, are we excited! Since going to The Bahamas in December, this destination has been one we can’t wait to cross off of our list. Located in the warm, calm waters of the Caribbean, St. Lucia is a small island country whose landscape and topography has been likened to that of Hawaii: large green hills, beautiful waterfalls, tropical rain forests, and warm sun. It has always been a dream of ours to go to Hawaii, and since we live on the East Coast, this isn’t as reasonable for us. St. Lucia on the other hand is a four-hour flight from Boston, so away we go! Next week we will share some of our photos from our first couple of days, but for now we’re going to share the five things we’re looking forward to during our trip to St. Lucia.
Five Things We’re Looking Forward to During Our Trip to St. Lucia
- Climbing the stairs at the Tet Paul nature trail
- Viewing the dormant Soufriere drive-in volcano
- Soaking in the island’s sulphur springs
- Napping in the warm sands at our resort
- Relaxing with each other
